Job Description

 Summary: Responsible for completing employment, education and certification verifications along with professional, personal and landlord references.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.

1. Validate employer/school information; research and locate source contact information.

2. Complete verifications in a timely manner

3. Interact with client to obtain additional or missing applicant information, release forms, etc.

4. Follow up daily on pending orders

5. Maintain surcharge list that includes all applicable third party verification fees

6. Any and all other duties relating to screening process or deemed necessary by supervisor.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence. Ability to compose reference summaries and other business materials. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as surcharge subtotals and totals. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations


Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, live person chat capabilities, order processing systems and database software. Certificates and Licenses: Previous experience with internet programs required; previous experience in employment screening industry preferred.
