Job Description

Our client is looking for a HR Coordinator for a temp (possible temp-to-hire) position in Linden, NJ.

  • The HR Generalist will provide assistance in the general administration of the HR Department. 
  • This includes managing and coordinating human resources and administrative activities such as on-boarding, HRIS database maintenance, file maintenance, and general support to employees to ensure compliance with company policies, in addition to applicable state and federal regulations. 
  • This also includes assisting in the research, development and implementation of new or revised HR programs as well as assisting in the ongoing management of existing programs.

Requirements

  • 1+ years experience in a HR Generalist role
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now (for recruiting - not payroll) is REQUIRED
  • Responsible for data entry and maintenance of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) database which includes entering new hires, job changes (promotions, status changes, compensation changes, etc.)
  • Responsible for on-boarding and off-boarding employees.
  • Provide back-up to the job posting and job requisition process.
  • Assist in new employee orientation and welcoming new employees.
  • Coordinate the random quarterly DOT drug testing process.
  • Generates HRIS reports on a regular basis.
