Job Description

PrideStaff, a firm specializing in recruiting for Central Oregon businesses, is seeking an ambitious and hardworking Gross Profit Specialist for an established company in Bend, OR. The right candidate for this position will be detail oriented, a self-starter, and have experience in a variety of accounting roles. This is a full-time position to get your foot in the door with a great company!

Job Responsibilities may include:

  • Work closely with retail stores and management
  • Analyzing variances in inventory
  • Perform month and year end financial closing duties
  • Daily journal entries and adjusting entries when needed
  • Posting and receiving purchase orders
  • General ledger reconciliations
  • Assist with vendor setup and expense reports
  • Data entry and analysis within multiple accounting systems
  • Provide general accounting support as needed
  • Assist with administrative needs to include scanning, copying, filing, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements: 

  • Recent and relevant experience working in an accounting role
  • Proficiency with Excel, Typing, and Google Suite
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail, meet daily deadlines, and multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • College degree preferred
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills both written and oral as well as problem-solving skills
  • Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute

Basic Working Conditions: The employee must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Although this position will be in an office environment, at times this position may be required to lift up to 20 lbs. The employee will be required to have the ability to stoop, kneel and handle objects for filing.
